In June, the SBT guaranteed good performance in the general audience ranking and impacted 101.9 million viewers throughout Brazil.
In Greater São Paulo, Brazil’s main city, SBT reached 10.5 million viewers during the month and was the only broadcaster to record growth in the 24-hour average, morning, afternoon, evening and early morning.
In the 24-hour average, the broadcaster accumulated 6.36% growth in relation to the previous month and ended June with an average of 3 points. The leading broadcaster closed the period with a 1.79% drop, the second-placed broadcaster lost 7.43% and the fourth-placed broadcaster lost 13.87% of audience.
In prime time, from 6pm to midnight, SBT scored 4.4 points on a monthly average and accumulated 5.43% growth compared to May. In the same time slot and comparison period, the leading broadcaster recorded a 0.45% drop, the second-placed channel lost 4.51% and the fourth-placed channel lost 11.50% of its audience.
In the morning average, from 6am to 12pm, SBT showed 1.47% growth compared to the previous month and closed June with an average of 2.2 points. Taking into account the same time slot and comparison period, the leading broadcaster recorded a 5.86% drop, the second-placed channel lost 2.51% and the fourth-placed channel lost 16.47% of its audience.
In the afternoon, from 12pm to 6pm, SBT scored an average of 3.7 points and registered 13.11% growth compared to the previous month. In the opposite direction, the leading broadcaster lost 2.27% of its audience, the second-placed broadcaster registered a 14.67% drop and the fourth-placed broadcaster a 15.58% drop.
In the early hours of the morning, from midnight to 6 am, SBT accumulated 1.88% growth compared to May and closed the period with an average of 1.8.
The broadcaster accumulated an average of 2.4 points on the PNT (National Television Panel) and registered 4.40% growth compared to the previous month.
In the same comparison range, the leading broadcaster showed a 3.27% drop, the second placed lost 6.57% and the fourth placed lost 8.68% of its audience.
