Claro Gaming was announced during Gamescom Latam
The first project developed by Druid for Claro was presented during Gamescom Latam, held between June 26th and 30th in São Paulo, the first city in Latin America to host one of the largest gaming events in the world.
Conceived in Germany in 2009, the fair held at Expo São Paulo attracted around one hundred thousand visitors, 700 exhibiting brands, more than 400 games available for testing and approximately R$1 billion in business.
It was with this score that the agency founded in 2021 by CEO Claudio Lima launched the Claro Gaming cloud game streaming service. With more than 1,900 titles, the platform is operated through GeForce Now, a cloud game streaming service from the North American electronics manufacturer Nvidia, which has just become the most valuable company in the world.
Estimated at US$3 trillion, the company that gained fame by assembling graphics processors for games, reached the position due to the growing demand for its artificial intelligence (AI) chips.
The giants have emerged from the gaming universe. However, in the real world, they are far from acting as villains. The eSports chain is allocating large investments to a market that could generate US$206.4 billion globally by 2025, according to projections from the consultancy Newzoo. The mobile environment leads the preference, followed by consoles and PCs.
With Claro, Druid is moving forward in the game. “We launched Claro Gaming with Tiago Leifert at Gamescom Latam, and activated the brand’s sponsorship of the event. We also built the Epic Games booth in partnership with Google, in addition to stage activations, also done for O Boticário,” says Lima.
