Among the supported athletes, ten have already secured places at this year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games
Espaçolaser announced the sponsorship of more athletes and now has a total of 44 sponsored athletes in 11 different sports.
The brand began supporting sports talent in 2013, among the first athletes are fencers Paulo Morais and Pedro Marostega, parachutist Luiz Sabiá, swimmer Carlos Jarbes and Paralympic swimmers Phelipe Rodrigues, Wendell Belarmino, Edênia Garcia, Maiara Barreto and Maria Carolina Santiago, Paralympic athlete Mônica Monstrinha, as well as Danielle Rauen from Table Tennis, Luiza Fiorese from Sitting Volleyball and Ruiter Silva in Paratriathlon. Also part of this group are Juliana Campos from pole vault, triathlete Ana Runner and young surfer Luana Reis, who has been with the brand since 2020, in addition to Marina Ohno, Beach Tennis athlete, Vicenzo Rodrigues in Jiu-Jitsu and surfers Carlos Bahia and Caio Costa.
“Sports are part of Espaçolaser’s DNA. We understand that those who take care of their bodies pay close attention to their health and self-care. In the case of athletes in particular, the pace is intense, with a heavy training routine and being hairless is a requirement of the sport or essential for performance. Furthermore, we believe in sports as a tool for growth and social inclusion. That’s why this project is so important to us,” says Paulo Morais, founder of Espaçolaser.
Espaçolaser sponsors 20 individual athletes and the Santos Cycling team, which has 23 cyclists. Among the athletes, ten have already secured places for the Olympic and Paralympic Games that will take place in Paris, such as Juliana Campos, in pole vault; Danielle Rauen, in table tennis; Luiza Fiorese, in sitting volleyball; Monica Monstrinha, in fencing; Ruiter Silva, in triathlon; and in swimming Edênia Garcia, Maria Carolina Santiago, Maiara Barreto, Phelipe Rodrigues and Wendell Belarmino.
Espaçolaser also sponsors the Brazilian Fencing Confederation, Esporte Clube Pinheiros, the Yuu World Project (Jiu-Jitsu) and YesCom (street race organizer).
