Alonso Sperb, Managing Director of the production company, contributed to the executive’s return
Stink Films has announced the return of Ian Ruschel as partner and director of the production company founded by Daniel Bergmann and led in Brazil by Jones and Tino.
With a professional relationship with Ian spanning over 14 years, the arrival of Alonso Sperb as Managing Director contributed to negotiations between the director and the production company.
“This moment is a personal and professional achievement. I remember when I was still working with Ian in Porto Alegre and he received the invitation to come to Stink for the first time, back in 2013. It was the opportunity he had to show his work to the world. Later, we worked together again in another operation for 7 years. Coming to Stink now and helping to bring it back to the home that designed it is an immense joy”, celebrated Sperb.
With a cast of directors formed by Douglas Bernardt, Irmãs Fridman, Giordano Maestrelli, Luisa Kracht and Brendo, Stink continues to discover new perspectives such as Larissa Zaidan and Natan Neves to complete its team alongside Jones, Tino and Ian Ruschel.
“What Stink offered me was irresistible and had everything I’ve ever wanted. I chose Stink for what it is and what it offers me as a workspace. While recognizing individuality and respecting this space, Stink allows everyone to contribute to their education, which makes it a genuine and functional collective. If individualism is the order of the day in the contemporary world, going against that, that is, being together and working collectively, is extremely valuable and can be revolutionary,” said Ian.
