Cultural initiative celebrates 50 years of public transport.
The Cinemetrô campaign is offering free movie sessions to the public who frequent the Santa Cecília and República stations, both on Line 3 – Red of the Sao Paulo Subway. At Santa Cecília, the sessions will take place every day until this Saturday (20), from 3 pm to 9 pm. The selection of films includes classics from the history of football, as well as a varied program designed for the holiday period, with a selection of films for children and young people. At República station, the traveling movie theater will be available from July 22 to August 5, during the same opening hours.
The action is the result of a partnership between Epsona global leader in image printing and projection, and the São Paulo Metro, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in September. The cinema stand is equipped with personalized chairs, free popcorn and Epson EpiqVision projectors, which display a cultural program specially provided by the Cinemateca.
The initiative aims to provide moments of leisure and culture to the millions of users of the São Paulo Metro. With this initiative, Epson hopes to reaffirm its commitment to promoting culture and entertainment, connecting in a meaningful way with the people of São Paulo.
