Initiative continues Kids Corp’s mission to empower the entire children’s digital ecosystem in the region
Kids Corp has launched a guide with recommendations for advertisers on how to communicate efficiently, safely and responsibly with children and adolescents in Brazil.
The initiative continues Kids Corp’s mission to empower the entire children’s digital ecosystem in the region, through the development of training, webinars, specialized documents and the availability of data and insights through informative reports and newsletters.
“We created this guide in order to make agencies and advertisers aware of the importance of knowing in detail the existing regulatory framework in our country, as well as highlighting good and bad practices of communication with the children and adolescents segment”, said Humberto Galdieri, Country Manager at Kids Corp Brazil.
In 2021, with the implementation of the LGPD (General Data Protection Law), companies were faced with a series of new requirements, which were added to the pre-existing requirements in digital communication to an audience that naturally demands special care.
In this context, Kids Corp identified the need to structure and make available a document that would guide advertisers on how to act in compliance with current rules and laws.
“The fact that Brazil is the first country in Latin America to have specific legislation on data processing is a source of pride and, at the same time, implies an even greater commitment on the part of brands that seek to digitally relate to children. -juvenile”, added Galdieri.
