With TikTok as its main platform, the club is approaching the one million followers mark.
According to the Digital Club Ranking, a survey carried out by IBOPE Repucom, Botafogo-SP was the Brazilian team that grew the most, in percentage terms, on social media during the first half of 2024, with an increase of 15%. In absolute numbers, Tricolor was 20th in the ranking, with 117,668 new subscribers in the sum of the five platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram e Tiktok). In the overall ranking among teams, the club is 30th on the list, with 904 thousand fans.
About to reach the milestone of one million followers on its social media, TikTok is the platform where the team has the largest number of subscribers, with 514.6 thousand people. Since 2018, Pantera, together with its communications and marketing department, has been following a strategy of brand positioning and planning targeted content, based on the profile of its fans, which has driven its growth on social media.
“Our growth shows that we are on the right track. It is a source of great pride to see that our goals are being achieved after much planning and dedication from the entire team. We have managed to build a true language that corresponds to what we believe and practice as a club, which has been fundamental to increasing our numbers even more”, says Adalberto Baptista, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Botafogo Futebol SA.
Tricolor had already achieved this feat in 2022, when it achieved a growth of 62.70% on its social networks. In the following season, the club ranked 2nd on the list, with 49.1%, only behind Fluminense, the Libertadores champion that season, which ended the year with an increase of 62.4%.
