On July 15th, B&B Hotel Copacabana Forte hosted Sponsors Rio, an event held by Associação Patrocínio Brasil (APBR) with the aim of bringing together members, guests and influencers from the sponsorship sector for a moment of learning, exchanging experiences and networking. With the theme “Connection and Innovation in the World of Sponsorships”, the event featured lectures that covered everything from the impact of technology on sponsorship relationships to strategies for maximizing success and mitigating risks, including discussions on naming rights, sports partnerships, and management of corporate, social and cultural sponsorships. The program also included methods for measuring and analyzing the impact of sponsorships and the use of data and digital technologies to optimize value, always presented by major sponsoring brands and proponents of large-scale sponsorship projects. Adauto Gudin, from Associação Patrocínio Brasil, began the proceedings by discussing how technology and authentic relationships are transforming sponsorships, followed by Idel Halfen, from Jockey Club Brasileiro and Perform Gestão de Resultados, who explored strategies and challenges in naming rights, Carlos Campos and Eduardo Leite, from Klefer, presented the case of the Copa do Brasil football tournament, addressing innovative strategies and actions in sports partnerships, Alysson Assunção, from Petrobras, detailed planning and management of corporate sponsorships, Flávia Costa Rocha, from Neoenergia, Fabiana Costa, from Baluarte Cultura, and Marcela Ruiz, from APBR, discussed the management of social and cultural sponsorships, Vanessa Küster Bestagno, from Claro Brasil, Renato Politi, from Sponsorium and Adauto Gudin addressed the selection, management and evaluation of sponsorships. The grand finale was a productive networking event between important names in the sector.
