Pipeline Capital, a global M&A group with over 12 years of experience, announces the launch of RocketGen, Brazil’s first GenAI Commerce startup competition. The initiative seeks to foster entrepreneurship and the M&A industry in the country, in addition to recognizing the power of artificial intelligence as an accelerator for the growth of companies in the retail and e-commerce sectors.
The challenge is part of the E-Commerce Brazil Forum, which will take place on July 30, 31 and August 1 in the Anhembi District, in São Paulo. To determine the winners, the five finalists will make their pitches live on Pipeline Capital’s special stage at the event.
The winning startup will receive a series of benefits and recognitions that include hours of mentoring with investors, analysis of their business using the Investment Rating methodology, developed by Pipeline Capital, a guided tour of Cubo, tickets to the next edition of the E-Commerce Brazil Forum and free access to an AI Marketing course.
The challenge is open to businesses of all sizes, experience levels and from anywhere in the world, with the premise that they are developing generative artificial intelligence projects for the e-commerce sector. All entrants will be included in the Scape Report, the map of Brazilian digital ecosystems and will receive an official certificate if they meet the requirements of being AI Commerce solutions.
“The competition is part of Pipeline Capital’s commitment to innovation and the growth of entrepreneurship and the M&A industry in Brazil. Our goal is to encourage startups to think about AI solutions for retail and e-commerce, while also helping entrepreneurs and the M&A industry in Brazil,” explains Pyr Marcondes, senior partner at Pipeline Capital.
Interested startups can apply through official landing page of the event, where they must fill out a form with registration information and submit a presentation of up to 15 slides detailing their project. The applications will be evaluated by a jury composed of five members, who will select the five best startups. The criteria will be judged on aspects such as business model, progress, future development plan, proposed solution and use of AI. The live presentation of the finalists during the E-Commerce Brazil Forum will define the winning startup according to the jury’s evaluation.
