In partnership with Coca-Cola, a chain of fast food will raffle tickets for the festival.
The eternal “Today is Rock’s day, baby” will become “Today is Bob’s day, baby”. That’s because Bob’s has launched a commercial, starring Christiane Torloni, which reinforces the brand’s presence at Rock in Rio Brazil 2024 as an official supporter of the event. The campaign also features a promotion, carried out in partnership with Coca Colawhich will raffle tickets for the festival.
This is the first campaign created and planned by ArtplanBob’s new advertising agency, which produced advertising pieces that will be broadcast in various media throughout Brazil, in addition to three films that show the actress using her revamped catchphrase to engage the public to participate in the promotion and go to the festival.
“We have been at Rock in Rio Brazil since its first edition in 1985. We have been bringing our flavor and immortalizing moments for 40 years. For 2024, we are investing even more in the brand experience, and Artplan presented us with this incredible campaign: a slogan created by the iconic actress Christiane Torloni, at such an important festival like this one and with immense potential for communication with different generations”, says Renata Brigatti Lange, Bob’s Marketing Director.
Christiane Torloni is the creator of “Today is Rock Day, Baby,” which was immortalized during her participation in the 2011 festival and which the audience has engraved in their memories. She comments on the impact of the expression:
“There’s nothing like a phrase that comes out at the height of an event that conveys joy, good humor, music, freedom, and beauty. ‘Today is Rock Day, baby’ is a synthesis of this desire and the pulse of this genuine moment,” explains the actress, who also talks about her happiness at receiving the invitation from Bob’s: “I loved it, especially because the brand has been a reference for me for many decades. I’m pleased to be representing Bob’s at this event,” she concludes.
The film is produced by ÇaVa Produções and the audio is handled by Blend Áudio. It will be broadcast on the country’s main free-to-air TV channels and on digital media. Check it out below:
