The capital of São Paulo compensates for lack of security with cultural diversity and a more affordable cost of living, according to research by Loopex Digital

With a score of 20.93, the capital of São Paulo offers more than five thousand job openings and an average salary of approximately US$ 62 thousand per year, according to a survey conducted by Loopex Digital, which analyzed the employment scenario in one hundred urban centers around the world, listed by Forbes magazine. The survey extracted 30 cities with the most job openings based on data from Glassdoor.
Average annual salary, cost of living, rental prices, safety and unemployment rates are all included in the calculation that makes up the score applied in the study. Cities with a high volume of job vacancies, competitive salaries, low cost of living and high safety rates come out ahead.
The balance between quality of life and the search for professional development puts Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, at the top of the ranking, with 33.41 points, 6.9 thousand jobs and an average annual salary of US$ 32 thousand.
Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, ranks second, due to its high safety rating and market dynamism. These characteristics offset the city’s high cost of living, attracting professionals from all over the world. It scored 28.67 points, 4.8 thousand jobs and annual salaries of around US$ 58 thousand.
Safety and a wide range of jobs also offset the effects of the high standard of living in Singapore, the third city on the list, with 25.74 points, 4.7 thousand jobs and an average salary of US$ 63 thousand. Munich, in Germany, adds the cultural factor to the decisions of marketing experts, which make it the fourth most desired destination, with 22.33 points, an average salary of US$ 67 thousand per year and 2.4 thousand vacancies in the area.
After São Paulo, in fifth place, comes Seoul, the capital of South Korea, which scored 17.96 points, 3.1 thousand job openings and an average annual salary of US$ 36 thousand. The advancement in infrastructure was one of the factors considered to position it in sixth place, ahead of Tokyo, Japan, which scored 17.74 points, two thousand job offers and an average annual salary of US$ 37 thousand. Safety and cultural diversity attract marketing professionals interested in combining a life surrounded by tradition and innovation.
In eighth place is Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. With 15.86 points, an appeal of 2,600 jobs and an average annual salary of just US$7,000, the city attracts marketing executives due to its low cost of living and cheaper rents, in addition to its high growth potential.
