Signed by Moringa, the piece is aimed at members of the Chamber of Deputies and opinion makers
Vital Strategies and ACT Promoção e Saúde launched a campaign that aims to influence the public debate on the importance of increasing the taxation of alcoholic beverages in the Selective Tax, which is being discussed in the bill that deals with Tax Reform.
The communication, signed by Moringa and aimed at members of the Chamber of Deputies and opinion makers, has the motto “Want a dose of reality?” and was created for digital, OOH and DOOH environments.
“This is a campaign that provokes and makes us reflect. The harmful effects of alcohol are often underestimated by people and the campaign pieces present data and evidence, from reliable sources, on how much alcohol consumption negatively impacts individuals and society as a whole. This look at the public health perspective in the context of the processing of the selective tax is fundamental”, said Rianni Bertoldo, CEO of Moringa.
The pieces highlight the harm that alcoholic beverages cause to physical and mental health, mainly affecting women and children with domestic violence, causing the death of more than 10 thousand people per year in traffic and overloading the public health system.
In addition, the campaign also features pieces published on portals and news sites that are affiliated with the parliamentarians’ universe, with all links directed to the campaign website.
