Renner announced the launch of the capsule collection “Todos Unidos pelo RS”, which aims to support victims of the floods that hit Rio Grande do Sul in May.
The project, created in partnership with Instituto Lojas Renner and three suppliers from Santa Catarina and Paraná, expects to donate R$400,000 to women in situations of greater social vulnerability.
“Lojas Renner SA was founded in Rio Grande do Sul and maintains a strong bond with the people of Rio Grande do Sul. From the beginning of the tragedy, we knew that, more than ever, we should support our employees, partners and the community, just as we have done in other situations of great impact on society,” said Fabio Faccio, CEO of Renner.
The collection includes men’s, women’s and children’s t-shirts, as well as caps, socks and eco-bags from the Renner and Ashua brands. The suppliers produced the items without passing on the cost.
The retailer will allocate 100% of the revenue generated by the sale of these items, without any profit margin on the operation, and the ILR will double the amount raised, to amplify the impact of the campaign.
