Senac RJ series explores themes such as artificial intelligence, games and the future of work.
Senac RJ is once again investing in entertainment as an educational tool and expanding ‘Speaking of Purpose’, a series of interviews that explores entertainment as a way to impact young audiences in favor of education. In its third season, the project debuts with a new panel format, featuring presenters such as journalist and creative strategist Bárbara Bono and actor and comedian Júlio de Sá, a success on social media with videos about everyday life, especially of Generation Z.
Aimed mainly at young people who are entering or developing in the job market, ‘Speaking of Purpose’ promotes conversations about the future of professions, creativity, entrepreneurship, games and technology with a different approach, connecting these topics to what’s trending on the networks, at innovation events around the world and in classroom conversations. In the new phase, the episodes delve into topics covered at the world’s main innovation events, such as Web Summit Rio and the SXSWbringing the Brazilian perspective to land this conversation.
“The major changes in the world, especially in education, have led us to rethink the way Senac RJ communicates. Today, there is a lot of talk about the future of work, professional choices, the need for constant updating and future skills, but how can we bring young people, more specifically Generation Z, into this conversation? That is where Falando de Propósito came from, which seeks to be closer to and speak the same language as teenagers and young professionals. It is the ‘Edutainment’ concept that contributes, in practice, to the rejuvenation of the brand”, highlights Marcelo Nitzsche, Digital Media Coordinator at Senac RJ.
In the first episode of the new season, ‘Your attention has been hacked’, Kuba’s Innovation Director, Genesson Honorato, addresses Generative Artificial Intelligence, TikTok, the technological revolution and the reduction of attention span. The second program has the theme ‘The periphery is gamer: let’s make money with it?’, bringing Jamela, from DiversiGames and speaker at SXSW, to talk about how this can be a good career for those who are just starting out. With 8 episodes, the series ends with ‘Generation T and the Future of Work’, which has as a guest the future of work expert Maira Blasi to discuss the skills needed to deal with the changing world.
“Bringing the entertainment layer to educational content makes all the difference, from the moment we think about the curation to the moment we define the themes. We’ve already talked about careers that range from memes, funk, rap, to how to postpone the end of the world. We brought up the parallel of Carnival as a creative industry based on innovation and saw favela collectives working with art and technology to design 2050. The new season arrives to consolidate these conversations and mix everything with what major events point to as innovation, in a mix with what our trends address and what careers can be for this Brazil under construction”, explains Bárbara Bono, who has been part of the project since the first season.
With over 2 million views across episodes and cuts in its first two phases, ‘Speaking of Purpose’ is available on videocast e podcast on the Senac RJ channel on YouTube and on platforms like Spotifyas well as additional content for networks such as TikTok e Instagram. Episodes premiere every Tuesday.
