Cannes Lions excludes Russian agencies and advertisers from awards


































Festival, which takes place between June 20 and 24, will not charge Ukrainian creatives for entries

Cannes Lions will not accept entries from Russian agencies and advertisers in this year’s edition of the award. In addition, the organization banned all delegates from Russia from this year’s festival.

“Despite our desire to celebrate creativity wherever it comes from, we have made the decision not to accept applications or delegations from Russian organizations to Cannes Lions,” he said.

The organization also stated that creatives from Ukraine will be able to participate in the festival for free.
