Signed by VML, the “Torcida pelo Brasil” campaign aims to invite the public to support the athletes
Visa, the official sponsor of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, launched, together with Banco do Brasil, the “Torcida pelo Brasil” campaign, which aims to spread awareness throughout the country during the championship and whose motto is #IssoÉACaraDoBrasileiro.
Inspired by fan traditions, the piece, designed by VML, explores unconventional formats to warm up the Olympic spirit across the country, such as themed murals with elements such as caramel dogs, clay filters and barbecues, which will be exhibited in four cities, namely São Paulo (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Baía Formosa (RN) and Imperatriz (MA)
“We want to celebrate the spirit of Brazilian fans and show that every small step counts to support our country over the coming weeks. And we decided to do this in unusual formats to highlight and value that our way of cheering is unique and deserves to be recognized,” said Carla Mita, Vice President of Marketing at Visa Brazil.
In addition, the action will also feature fake out of homes at CCBB units in São Paulo and Brasília, which will feature a giant inflatable caramel dog.
“Brazilians like beautiful, simple and creative things that represent our country. The themed murals show a bit of this, along with popular elements of our daily lives (barbecue, caramel dogs, among others). For BB, which has Brazil in its name, it is an honor to be present at this exciting moment, together with Visa, in which we come together to cheer for our athletes”, added Pedro Bramont, Director of Payment Methods and Services at Banco do Brasil.
