Film recorded at the German Charitable Society is shared on social media
The Nestlé Recipes platform joined forces with Nestlé Health Science, in a partnership with the German Charitable Society (SBA), to launch the mini-documentary “Unforgettable Recipes – Grandparents’ Special”, in celebration of Grandparents’ Day.
The film is an offshoot of the Unforgettable Recipes campaign, launched in April this year, and reinforces that the act of preparing and sharing meals to celebrate good times with the family helps to create emotional memories that last the years.
For the documentary, traditional recipes that have left their mark on the history of the families of three SBA residents were reproduced by Nestlé. The dishes were supplemented with Nutren Senior to replace some ingredients to improve their nutritional value for the elderly.
“Reinforcing the purpose of Nestlé Recipes, the new film once again highlights the power of food in creating lasting emotional bonds between people when preparing and sharing meals. These experiences, emotions and memories last a lifetime and show how recipes play an important role in relationships. In addition to being an act of love, cooking creates unforgettable memories,” says Lucas Fabozzi, marketing manager and culinary expert at Nestlé Recipes.
The campaign features content on social media. All of the recipes recreated for the campaign are available on the Nestlé Recipes website, as well as a digital book that brings together these and other traditional dishes from the families of other SBA residents.
