Action, carried out by Grey, printed the photo taken by Jerome Brouillet at two addresses in Rio de Janeiro
Rio de Janeiro woke up this Thursday (1) with a tribute to Gabriel Medina’s performance at the Olympics, when he achieved the highest score in the history of the competition during the round of 16.
The achievement resulted in a photo that went viral on social media, taken by French photographer Jerome Brouillet, and it was this image that was transformed into two digital murals on the streets of Rio.
“We have a historic partnership with surfing and athletes, especially with Gabriel Medina. In addition to paying tribute to the athlete and recognizing the iconic record made by photographer Jerome Brouillet, Corona Cero invites Brazilian fans to send their best energy to Medina in the search for a new golden moment and, of course, in moderation,” said Gabriela Gallo, Corona’s Marketing Director in Brazil.
The action was carried out by Grey and the murals are located on Av. Visconde de Albuquerque, in Leblon, and on Av. do Pepê, in Barra da Tijuca.
“Medina had a golden moment even before a medal. In record time and in partnership with clients, we were able to create, approve and make an iconic piece viable. Speed is essential to be part of the culture”, added Frase do Manir Fadel, CEO and CCO of Grey Brasil.
