Mônica Monteiro will report directly to CEO Douglas Tavolaro
CNBC has announced that Mônica Monteiro will be appointed as executive advisor to the president, reporting directly to CEO and founder Douglas Tavolaro. Mônica leaves Grupo Band, where she led the company’s pay TV channels for the past six years as executive director and institutional director.
During this period, she managed the operations of eight channels in Brazil and one international channel, in addition to the implementation of channels such as Sabor & Arte and AgroMais. The new Times | CNBC executive currently holds positions on boards and associations in the communications segment and in the defense of diversity.
With over 25 years of experience, Mônica has a history of entrepreneurship in the media industry. She is the co-owner and founder of Cinegroup, a content and advertising production company with a presence in Brasília, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Africa. The company produces series, documentaries and commercials for TV.
