This week, SBT presented the +SBT streaming app to the press. The platform, which is 100% free, will be officially launched on August 18th and is already in beta. The app combines live channels with a wide selection of on-demand content.
Among the programming, +SBT will offer an experience with original and never-before-seen content, such as “Coleção SBT”, a documentary franchise that will delve behind the scenes and into the careers of artists who have shone or still shine on SBT’s screen. These series will celebrate various personalities such as Silvio Santos, Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega, Hebe Camargo, Augusto Liberato (Gugu) and Christina Rocha, by telling their inspiring stories and unprecedented revelations.
The platform will also feature a varied catalog with successful soap operas that have marked and continue to mark generations, in addition to countless series, films, children’s and youth content, TV programs and even the simultaneous broadcast of programming that is currently being shown live on SBT.
+SBT will be available on cell phones (Android and iOS), computers, tablets, connected TVs (smart TVs) from Samsung and LG, screen mirroring via Chromecast and Google TV and devices with the Android TV operating system.
