The world’s most beloved wizard, Harry Potter, turned 44 on the 31st and, to celebrate the character, Fini, a leader in the jelly bean and liquorice segment in the country, brought together influencers who are fans of the brand and the saga in an event with a synchronized drone show that provided a unique and magical moment for the guests. The celebration took place on July 30th, starting at 6:30 pm, at Hípica Santo Amaro, in São Paulo.
Harry Potter’s birthday is an iconic date for fans around the world, celebrating the birth of the character who became a cultural phenomenon. The activation aimed to continue Fini’s actions in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), which recently brought Finilovers the first line of jelly candies inspired by the Harry Potter universe, and reinforces the brand’s strategy to further expand connection and identification with Millennials and Generation Z, in addition to strengthening its leadership position in the jelly and liquor category in Brazil.
For the 20-minute show, 200 drones performed with iconic elements of the brands and licensed products. The show was created and executed by FLYWORKS Drone Show, which opened with the Fini logo to create a great visual impact, followed by “HP” (Harry Potter) in yellow to light up the sky.

We want to promote the Fini brand in a playful way that is integrated with the Harry Potter universe, creating a positive and memorable association. The first line of gelatin candies inspired by the Harry Potter universe has been available in retail, franchises, the brand’s e-commerce, convenience stores, wholesalers and distributors throughout Brazil since June, with a suggested price of R$7.49.
