Nomad used technology to make Will Smith speak Portuguese, but there’s no denying that the voices of the original dubbers bring a touch of Brazilianness and nostalgia. That’s why the fintech made a point of recording a version of the film with Manolo Rey, Marco Ribeiro and Márcio Simões, the actor’s three official dubbers in Brazil.
In the video, shared on social media, the trio jokes about the original 45-second commercial, reminding us that for over 30 years they have been using real intelligence to give voice to the characters played by the global artist. Artificial Intelligence (AI) was a creative resource used by the brand to show how Nomad can make life easier for Brazilians abroad, breaking down access barriers around the world and offering a variety of intuitive and easy-to-use financial products.
One month after the campaign’s launch on June 30, the fintech is already seeing the results of the action with more than 39 million views on the main social networks, a 540% increase in traffic to the Nomad website and considerable growth in account openings in July.
