Signed by Bushatsky Filmes and Ogilvy Brasil, the piece presents a manifesto with Paralympic athletes
The Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) has launched a campaign with medal-winning athletes who will represent the country in the competition starting on August 28. Brazil will travel to the French capital with 254 athletes with disabilities in 20 sports.
The campaign, signed by Bushatsky Filmes and Ogilvy Brasil, presents a manifesto with Paralympic athletes: “More than winners: Brazilians”.
The film stars the swimmer from Minas Gerais, Gabriel Araújo, the weightlifter from São Paulo, Mariana D’Andrea, both Paralympic and world champions in their respective sports, as well as the sprinter from Paraná, Vinícius Rodrigues, and the thrower from Bahia, Raíssa Machado, both silver medalists at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
“The Paralympic Games are here and our aim is to join the Brazilian fans not only in cheering for the athletes who will be competing in our colors in Paris, but also to raise awareness among the population about inclusion through sports,” says Mizael Conrado, two-time Paralympic champion in blind football (Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008), elected the best in the world in the sport in 1998, and current president of the Brazilian Paralympic Committee.
Also in August, a series of four 20-minute episodes will be released on SporTV and Globoplay, which will address the issue of the job market for people with disabilities and the behind-the-scenes look at how athletes prepare for major international competitions. The productions are sponsored by Toyota do Brasil.
Also planned for this year are an animated film called “Paramigos Imparáveis” and a film about Brazil’s participation in the Paris Paralympic Games. Two other films are scheduled to premiere in 2025: the first about women with disabilities in Paralympic sports and the other about the Brazilian blind football team.
The film will be promoted on online and offline platforms, such as social media and out-of-home media.
