The agency, in partnership with Estrategeria, carried out a facelift of the visual identity
Master Freios, a company that is part of Randoncorp, has presented its rebranding, signed by the agency SPR. The brand also has a new slogan: “Toda Rota Mais Segura” (Every Safe Route).
The agency, in partnership with Estrategeria, carried out an initial branding study and the agency’s design team was responsible for updating the brand. Keeping in mind Master’s tradition, the agency maintained the brand’s visual elements, but adapted them to a more contemporary design.
The visual identity has undergone a facelift with subtle but significant changes. Preserving the essence and elements of the old brand, the design team was inspired by the brake caliper, seeking to symbolize it through a detail that follows the silhouette of the letter M – in the same way that the caliper follows the brake disc. In addition to the symbol, the letters of the name were also designed, giving it more personality and giving the brand more dynamism and performance. The main colors, navy blue and red, were strengthened.
“Unlike a redesign that allows for major changes, a facelift needs to evolve the brand without interfering with its essence. Depending on the point of view, the adjustments can be subtle for some and intense for others. Therefore, a brand facelift is always a major challenge,” explains Rafael Ternes, head of design at SPR.
