Executive will work on developing new businesses and partnerships aimed at the agency’s growth in the private market
Propeg announced the arrival of Roberto Tourinho as the agency’s executive director.
Now, the current president of Sinapro-SP, member of the Superior Council and Director of CENP and member of the Board of Directors of Propeg, will act strategically in the development of new businesses and partnerships that will help drive the agency’s growth in the private market.
“Taking on the executive management role in São Paulo of an agency as important as Propeg is a very stimulating challenge, especially at this time of profound transformations in the business model and the format of communication, increasingly based on data and technology, but without losing the creative brilliance and human connection with the consumer,” said Tourinho.
For Propeg, the arrival of the executive represents an opportunity to increase competitiveness. “Tourinho returns to Propeg with a wealth of experience and an important mission in our growth strategy for the future. We are very happy and excited to announce him as the new CEO of São Paulo,” reinforced Vitor Barros, CEO of Propeg.
With 40 years of professional experience, Tourinho was a partner at Propeg from 1996 to 2001, when he held the position of Director of Administration and Finance. Throughout his career in the advertising market, he was a founding partner and CEO of Grupo PPR, the holding company of the agencies Quê and NBS, from 2002 to 2013, and VP of management and operations at NBS from 2014 to 2020.
Before assuming the presidency of Sinapro-SP — in the current administration —, he held the position of VP of the entity for 12 years and was also Financial Director of ABAP.
During his career, Tourinho has worked with clients such as Oi, Petrobras, Coca-Cola, Bob’s, Panasonic, SECOM – DF, Mercado Pago, BRB – Banco Regional de Brasília, Iguatemi S/A, IFood, O Boticário, Ferrero Rocher, among others, and, as head of Sinapro-SP, has been promoting a renewal in management, with the aim of bringing the entity even closer to the agencies and the market, and contributing to its development.
