Strategy includes videos for YouTube and the company’s social networks
InfinitePay has launched a campaign starring TV host Xuxa Meneghel that announces a reduction in card transaction fees of up to 50%. In the film, Xuxa presents InfinitePay as the “Queen of Low Fees” and reinterprets memes and iconic moments from her show.
The campaign, developed in-house, brings together a series of moments that show Xuxa diving into the universe of InfinitePay in a setting that recreates classic talk shows. In addition to providing information about the new fees charged on the machines and in the InfinitePay app, the “queen of low fees” clarifies the main doubts of entrepreneurs in a light, relaxed and accessible tone.
“Several ideas quickly came to my head about how I could connect some of the iconic moments from the programs with today’s world, where everything is done through a smartphone screen,” explains Xuxa.
Throughout the film, the presenter uses her traditional “little letters” to answer questions about the company’s new product. The action also features a monster called Taxão, an allusion to the high rates charged in the market. At a certain point in the video, Xuxa even makes an adapted reference to some of the most well-known memes, such as the phrase “Senta lá, Taxão”. Another curious moment shows her record playing backwards, recalling one of the most well-known “legends” of the 80s.
“The exercise we did was: what if, to communicate fee reductions, or ‘low fees’, as we like to call them, InfinitePay invited someone who really understands low fees?”, says Paulo Perez, chief design officer at CloudWalk.
“To stand out and be so dominant in the micro, small and medium-sized business segment, we need to work hard, with technology and efficiency. That’s why we are so eager to measure results and evaluate what works and what doesn’t. This new campaign is yet another movement that is very aware of its potential impact on Brazilian entrepreneurs,” explains Paulo.
The strategy includes several videos for YouTube and the company’s social networks in the coming months.
