The presentation will be broadcast nationally and internationally. In addition, Effect Sports also announced a VIP area for the match.
The National Football League (NFL) announced that Anitta will be the headliner at the halftime show of the league’s first game in South America, which will take place on September 6th at the game between Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers, at Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo.
Rumors that the singer would perform at the so-called halftime show were already circulating the internet and intensified when the league published a video promoting the match with one of her songs as the soundtrack.
The game will also feature appearances by Carola, who will be responsible for cheering on the fans before kickoff, Luísa Sonza, who will be responsible for singing the Brazilian national anthem, and Zeeba, the singer with dual nationality (American and Brazilian), who will perform the United States national anthem.
“With all the excitement surrounding the inaugural NFL game in Brazil, we felt it was essential to capitalize on the dynamic music scene in São Paulo. We are thrilled to welcome global sensation Anitta and a lineup of Brazil’s best artists to this landmark event, promising fans and spectators around the world an unforgettable celebration of performance and culture,” said Tim Tubito, NFL Director of Events and Game Presentation.
The show will be broadcast live on all international broadcasts and on all Brazilian channels that will be showing the game, including ESPN, RedeTV!, CazéTV and NFL Game Pass on DAZN. In the US, fans will be able to watch the presentation on NBC Peacock, and later on the NFL’s YouTube channel.
The league also announced that it will launch a clothing collection with the singer on September 1, which will be available at the NFL Shop, presented by Visa at Morumbi Shopping and at the store that will be set up at Neo Química Arena.
Camarote Touchdown
In addition to announcements about the attractions, Effect Sports, the official NFL agency in Brazil, launched Camarote Touchdown, which has B2B and B2C public ticket options available on the website.
The space will have more than eight hours of entertainment, with musical attractions, open food and open bar, as well as round-trip transfers and a privileged view of the game.
“The venue is incredible, offering all the necessary facilities to make the match a memorable experience for everyone present. We create opportunities for brands that want to be active at the venue, building a spectacular relationship with guests. Without a doubt, we are talking about the sporting event of the year in Brazil,” said Pedro Rego Monteiro, CEO of Effect Sport.
