Food To Save, an app that fights against food waste, is an official supporter of the 36th edition of McDia Feliz, a traditional campaign promoted by the Ronald McDonald Institute, which will be held on August 24th, throughout the country. The foodtech will sell 2,000 vouchers for McDia Feliz at Food Market, Food To Save’s market, in the state of São Paulo.
To further promote the campaign, Food To Save created a special layout for the Surprise Bags, so that food savers can support the cause and participate in the action throughout Brazil. In total, 100,000 units will be produced. “McHappy Day is an event that mobilizes essential resources for cancer treatment and support projects and raises awareness about the importance of solidarity. Therefore, the partnership with Food To Save further strengthens the initiative, showing that collaboration between different organizations can enhance results”, highlights Murilo Ambrogi, CMO and co-founder of the foodtech.
The national campaign, which aims to help combat childhood cancer through the work of the Ronald McDonald Institute, is the largest mobilization campaign in the country. On this day, the proceeds from the sale of Big Macs are donated to promote projects that benefit the health and quality of life of cancer patients and their families. “With the support of Food To Save, we were able to expand our reach and impact, reinforcing our commitment to the health and well-being of children and adolescents undergoing treatment in the country,” says Bianca Provedel, CEO of the Ronald McDonald Institute.
