Collection was launched in honor of International Women’s Day
Ipanema launched the Ipanema WOW collection, which aims to boost the careers and protagonism of three women who participated in the free Women On Walls (WOW) professionalization program, carried out by Instagrafite, authored by Marina Bortoluzzi, and sponsored by Ipanema.
The collection was launched in honor of International Women’s Day and features illustrations by Larissa Paredes Ramos, Thaiz Zafalon and Fabiana Mimura.
“Idealizing a project and following it as it unfolds into a new collection shows the relevance of everything we are building and the importance of Ipanema’s support,” said Marina Bortoluzzi, art curator, co-founder of Instagrafite and creator of WOW.
In addition to sponsoring the project that brought together world-renowned women artists, curators and articulators to provide mentorships and share professional experiences, at the end of the project, the brand launched the Ipanema WOW cultural contest — which emerged with the premise of selecting a single art to print a special edition, but which ended up becoming an entire capsule.
“Bringing together a group of artists who came from varied social backgrounds and with different worldviews to share experiences created not only a capsule, but a network of exchange and mutual support. Furthermore, with projects like these, we bring consumers closer to the world of art, which we understand can and should be anywhere and not restricted to privileged spaces”, commented Daiane Fischer, Ipanema Brand and Communication Manager.
