Brazilian Alzheimer’s Association seeks to break the stigma of the disease

The piece, created and produced by producer Dalva, includes promotion on social media

The Brazilian Alzheimer’s Association (ABRAz) presented a new film to break down the stigmas associated with Alzheimer’s and remind people that life may be built on memories, but it is lived every day through human feelings.

The play “Querida”, created and produced by Dalva in partnership with ABRAz, seeks to use curiosity as a tool to show the forgotten side of the disease: people may not remember, but they continue to feel. The idea came from research that indicates that patients with Alzheimer’s experience prolonged emotional states that go beyond memory – they feel joy or sadness, for example, without remembering why.

The film includes promotion on social media.
