The channel’s attraction, which is a success on YouTube and social media, shows a recording with singer Duda Beat for an audience of guests
CNN Brasil brought together representatives from the advertising market for a special recording of the program ‘Na Palma da Mari’, in an event space in Jardins. The program, which is hosted by journalist Mari Palma on CNN POP’s YouTube channel, welcomed singer Duda Beat from Pernambuco for a relaxed chat full of fun ingredients. At the end, the singer performed a pocket show to the music of the DJ and with two dancers on the mini stage.
Mariana Cantarelli, Marketing Director at CNN Brasil, welcomed the professionals present for the evening: “We are a niche channel on television, but our main stream is on the internet. Mari has this program that goes online, is on YouTube in its entirety, has cuts, and goes on social media. And she talks to super relevant people,” she said. The marketing director continued: “The importance of us being here today is that you also have an idea of how brands can work with CNN Brasil to bring a little more lightness. Mari represents this lighter, more playful side.”
Journalist Mari Palma, the show’s host, added: “Sometimes we don’t associate the advertising market with hard news journalism. I’m very happy that CNN gives me this space to talk about entertainment. I started on the channel in hard news journalism, live, during the pandemic. Until the moment the world started to recover, entertainment started to come back into our lives.” The host highlighted that her show Na Palma da Mari has more than 70 million views on all platforms, with interviewees who call the production team to participate in the program. And she added: “We have news for 2025: we are preparing a special edition ‘Na Palma da Mari Verão’, with beach, drinks, pool”.
