The action is part of the campaign “Intertwined Voices – Whoever listens to a woman silences violence”
The color lilac was not chosen by chance by the Avon Institute to illuminate the YUP Star Ferris wheel, in Porto Maravilha, in Rio de Janeiro, on August 18th and 19th.
Part of the campaign “Intertwined Voices – Whoever listens to a woman silences violence”, the initiative led by the Repense agency raises awareness for Purple August, the month of awareness about violence against women.
This year, the campaign highlights active listening as a form of intervention to promote dialogue, support and acceptance. Hence the example of Ângela, a virtual assistant at the Avon Institute.
The strategy includes a video manifesto and pieces displayed on the digital media channels of the Avon Institute, which has already invested more than R$207 million in more than 430 projects, benefiting more than 5.3 million people and engaging more than 130 companies.
