Instagram will be the event’s media partner
Sephora has announced the sponsoring brands, godmothers, ambassadors and musical acts for the Sephora Halloween Ball, which will take place on October 11th at the Unique Hotel in São Paulo. The sixth edition of the party will have the theme “The Seventh Art”, in reference to cinema, but also to all artistic expressions that make up the audiovisual sector.
This year, the event will be sponsored by Brastemp, Chandon, Ambev, Bubbaloo and Meta, which confirmed Instagram as its official media partner. In addition, Sephora partner brands such as Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Mari Maria, Givenchy, MAC, Real Techniques, Tangle Teezer and Braé will also be sponsors.
“Today we work with two brand universes: we have Sephora’s internal brands, which complement the event with activations and experiences, and we have external brands, which was a movement that happened naturally. During the first edition, external brands began to approach Sephora interested in exploring this territory of beauty and, for this reason, we organized a format for attracting sponsorship and commercial delivery so that they could join us”, explains Cataldo Domenicis, marketing director at Sephora.
For this year, Sephora announced a partnership with Meta, through Instagram, which will create a personalized studio so that guests can produce live content. “Instagram is joining us in this project, we will have live broadcasts and we will contribute with a space for the guests to create Reels, because, at the end of the day, everyone wants to have cool content to post on social media. Instagram is helping us with their curation and knowledge so that we can further enhance the Ball together with the guests”, says Cataldo.
Among the musical attractions, Ivete Sangalo will return as the highlight of the party. The singer was confirmed as godmother and will perform a different show sharing the stage with Alcione and Jão. Liniker will also be present with a special performance. At the end, Dubdogz will command the dance floor.
In addition to Ivete Sangalo, Paolla Oliveira and Preta Gil were also announced as godmothers. Thelma Assis and Jade Picon were invited to join the team of official ambassadors.
Since 2019, when it was created, Sephora’s Halloween has doubled in size and has now become a business front for the beauty chain, attracting more and more sponsors.
