After a period of collaboration with companies such as Boiler and Stink, The Youth announced its independence in the national market.
The new phase of the production company founded in 2011 by Eduardo Lubiazi, João Machado and Yuri Maranhão is being reinforced by the arrival of Chico Pedreira as executive producer and by the strengthening of Colossal, the company’s animation and VFX arm.
“We felt it was the right time to establish ourselves autonomously, valuing our identity and production style developed in recent years,” said Eduardo Lubiazi, director and partner at The Youth.
Founded in 2011 in Curitiba, the production company has already won several awards and, in 2024, won 16 Lions, including two in Film Craft and two Grand Prix in Entertainment for Music and Digital Craft.
“These were years of learning and growth. Now, we feel it is time to follow our own path. Independence in Brazil allows us to explore new possibilities and projects more freely and with our own style,” added João Machado.
