The artist’s unique mega-show at the Morumbis stadium, in SP, on the September 7th holiday, is presented by Santander
In an unprecedented move, YouTube will broadcast live and free of charge The Weeknd’s concert in Brazil, which will take place at the Morumbis stadium in São Paulo, this Saturday (September 7). Produced by Live Nation and presented by Santander Brasil, the artist’s unique show in Brazil this year is part of The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours Til Dawn Tour’, which sold out more than 60 dates in North America, Europe, the United Kingdom and Latin America, with an audience of more than three million fans.
The YouTube broadcast is also supported by Santander, which launched the Free platform at the end of April – where the bank offers accounts and cards free of annual fees and charges, in addition to expanding access to experiences such as courses and scholarships for customers and non-customers of the bank, and now to a mega live show. According to Santander, the goal is to make more and more people feel benefited by the concept of free services.
“By partnering with YouTube, we are bringing our audience a unique experience that makes our Free concept tangible,” says Juliana Cury, CMO of Santander Brazil, which also recently adopted the ‘Start Now’ concept, which represents a new moment for the bank in the way it relates to customers. The campaign is aimed at Generation Z and highlights the need to have the courage to take the first steps, experience changes and overcome uncertainties.
