Journalist was a presenter at SBT Brasil and will now join the team at the new broadcaster in Brazil
Times Brasil | CNBC announced the hiring of Marcelo Torres as anchor. With a long career as a reporter, presenter and international correspondent, he also worked as a reporter for TV Globo for six years and was hired by SBT in 2005. Marcelo succeeded Carlos Nascimento as anchor of SBT Brasil.
“He is a familiar face to Brazilians. In addition, his stints as an international correspondent have put Marcelo on numerous coverages of the most important events in the world. He is a highly credible journalist,” says Douglas Tavolaro, CEO and founder of CNBC in Brazil.
