JCDecaux is the company responsible for brand activations such as Visa, Perdigão, Budweiser and New Era
Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers are already on Brazilian soil to star in the first NFL game in Brazil, which will take place this Friday (6), at Neo Química Arena, in São Paulo.
The American football atmosphere has invaded the capital of São Paulo, largely due to the OOH actions that brands are promoting, such as the activations signed by JCDecaux, which developed projects that aim to connect the public with the event.
In total, the NFL is running ads on 133 street clocks, inviting people to watch the game, participate in the NFL Experience at Villa-Lobos Park and shop at the league’s official store.
“Out of home is a strategic platform because it delivers high visibility at key points of contact, enabling impactful communication at a time of high fan engagement. With the right combination of creativity and presence, brands can create lasting memories at this unprecedented NFL event in South America,” explained João Binda, Commercial Director at JCDecaux.
Visa, the official sponsor of the competition, has focused on dominating Corinthians-Itaquera Station with ads on walls, totems and columns. The campaign will also be displayed on 40 street clocks around the stadium.
In the case of Budweiser, the game’s official beer, the brand created a commemorative and collectible bottle for fans of the sport, which is also featured on street clocks and several subway stations.
Perdigão will distribute free flags to those who disembark at Corinthians-Itaquera station on the day of the game. The action is part of the campaign that promotes the “Na Brasa” line and also includes advertisements in several stations and on 140 clocks spread throughout São Paulo.
New Era, which is also a sponsor of the NFL, has installed a giant cap on a street clock on Avenida Paulista. The impact of the project will be reinforced with advertisements at the Sé and Corinthians-Itaquera subway stations and on another 100 street clocks distributed throughout several neighborhoods in São Paulo.
