The company aims to transform the athletes it represents into cultural icons and take the football industry into the entertainment sector
Roc Nation Sports Brazil, a company founded by music star Jay-Z, has announced a new operation that will unite sports and entertainment.
With this new feature, the company aims to transform the athletes it represents into cultural icons and take the football industry into the entertainment sector, in addition to promoting American sports that have been gaining more and more strength, such as the NFL.
“This new division further enhances the return of commercial partners. Now brands will be able to associate themselves with the biggest names in sports with all the support of Roc Nation Sports Brazil’s new marketing structure. From now on, we will effectively combine the sports and entertainment industries,” said Frederico Pena, founder and CEO of Roc Nation Sports Brazil.
The announcement was made during the celebration of the company’s first year in Brazil, which took place this Thursday (5), at Soho House, in São Paulo. The party had the official support of Budweiser and had activations promoted by the brand at the bar and on stage.
“The economic and investment scenario in the segment is on an upward curve, both in the most popular sports and in those that are still less widespread, such as American sports. We want to be the solution for those who want to position themselves in the market assertively. Our goal is to entertain fans and we will use all of the company’s know-how to consolidate this model in Brazil,” added Gabriel Lima, from the agency’s new marketing division.
The company operates with offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, in Brazil, and London, Madrid and Lisbon, in Europe.
