CNN Brasil has entered into a partnership with Positivo Tecnologia, a Brazilian hardware technology and IT services company. The alliance between CNN Brasil and Positivo Tecnologia is yet another initiative by CNN Lab, which has provided great connections for the multiplatform brand, always respecting the channel’s DNA.
The initiative, which reinforces CNN Brasil’s commitment to innovation, was conceived in partnership with Tech&Soul, a Positivo Tecnologia agency. The agreement provides for the renewal of notebooks and tablets used by CNN Brasil professionals, who will now adopt the most modern line of models from VAIO, a global brand of Japanese origin that has been operating in Brazil since 2015 through Positivo Tecnologia. “The ideal partnership is one that brings together players of excellence in their respective segments, opening up possibilities for everyone involved in the business to come out on top. And it is this perspective that we have so much to celebrate in this CNN Lab initiative with Positivo,” says Mariana Cantarelli, Marketing Director at CNN Brasil.
The proposal is to rely on Positivo Tecnologia’s experience in hardware technology and IT services to support CNN Brasil’s operations, whether for TV or portal operations, including technical, production and editorial professionals. The current devices used by CNN Brasil’s teams, such as news anchors, will be replaced by VAIO FH15, VAIO PRO PX and VAIO PRO BX notebooks, in addition to the VAIO TL 10 tablet.
The current equipment is scheduled to be replaced by the new VAIO devices in September. The expectation is to accelerate the pace of production at CNN Brasil and increase the accuracy of the data required for the excellent work carried out by its professionals. “The partnership with the broadcaster reinforces trust and credibility. These two aspects guided our joint decision because they are pillars of quality journalism, such as that of CNN Brasil, and of cutting-edge technology, present in VAIO products. We are honored to have our brand present on the news desks of the broadcaster,” says Alexandre Colnaghi, Marketing Director at Positivo Tecnologia.
