Recognized for its vibrant Brazilianness and its consultancy thinking, Agência MariaSãoPaulo, which turns 10 in 2024, will be responsible for communication for Vakinha, a pioneering platform for online donations in Brazil.
Agência MariaSãoPaulo, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2024, has just won the Vakinha account, the largest and most relevant donation platform in Latin America. With this partnership, the agency reaffirms its unique way of doing things, combining Brazilianness and consulting thinking to create impactful solutions.
The relationship between the two brands began in March of this year, when MariaSãoPaulo developed a campaign for International Women’s Day, entitled “Don’t Create Women for the World. Create a World for Women”. The campaign was created – according to Larissa Andrade, CEO of MariaSãoPaulo – with the aim of promoting female entrepreneurship and raising awareness in society about the profound inequalities that affect women in Brazil. With a clear and powerful message, the campaign highlighted disturbing realities, emphasizing the need to build a world where women can thrive. Now, after 5 months, the partnership expands into a long-term strategic collaboration.
“The arrival of Vakinha to our client portfolio is a source of great pride for the entire MariaSãoPaulo team, especially at such a significant moment for us, as we celebrate 10 years of history. We are excited about the possibilities that this partnership brings to positively impact society and are ready to use our expertise to further amplify Vakinha’s voice, helping to build new stories of success and transformation in the country”, comments Larissa.
Founded in 2009, Vakinha has become a true ecosystem for good, impacting millions of lives through its platform. With 13 million users and more than 3,500 fundraisers created daily, the company has grown exponentially, being an example of how technology can be used for the common good.
“Vakinha is not just a donation platform; it is an ecosystem of impactful solutions. With the strategic and creative support of MariaSãoPaulo, we are confident that we will reach new levels of engagement for our brand,” says Thiago Cid, COO and partner at Vakinha.
In addition to enabling donations, Vakinha has expanded to become a hub for impactful solutions, with initiatives ranging from supporting NGOs to social inclusion projects. In 2023, the platform achieved 200% growth in brand reach, demonstrating the power of solidarity when combined with technology. “Vakinha has always been synonymous with solidarity and transformation. Our challenge now is to expand this emotional connection, so that Vakinha resonates even more with the Brazilian public,” highlights Vanessa Fontes, Creative Supervisor at MariaSãoPaulo.
