Cannes Lions has presented the 2024 Lions Creativity Report, a report that annually brings together the main insights, trends and, above all, the ranking of agencies and brands.
This year, Brazil ended its participation in the festival repeating last year’s feat, with 92 Lions — two GPs, 14 Golds, 31 Silvers and 45 Bronzes.
In the ranking of Agencies of the Year, the news was the entry of DM9 and AlmapBBDO in the Top10, in eighth and tenth place, respectively, while GUT appears in 18th position. The Top3 was formed by Publicis Conseil (Paris), Rethink (Canada) and Ogilvy (New York).
In Independent Agencies, Rethink moved up one spot to take the top spot, followed by Edelman, Klick Health, ServicePlan, Jung Von Matt Ag, Wieden+Kennedy, 4Creative, Small, Little Spain and Slap Global rounding out the Top 10.
In the Communication Groups category, the ranking is made up of WPP, Omnicom, Interpublic Group, Publicis Group, Havas, S4 Capital, Stagwell Inc., Hakuhodo by Holdings and Deloitte.
Regarding the most creative brands of 2024, the list brought Coca-Cola, Heineken and Apple in the top 3. The ranking continues with Heinz, Renault, Orange, XBox, Cemento Sol, Doce and Doordash in the top 10.
In Network, the list has Ogilvy in first place, followed by Publicis Worldwide, DDB Worldwide, FCB, McCann Worldgroup, VML, BBDO Worldwide, TBWA Worldwide, AKQA and Rethink.
Meanwhile, Rethink takes the top spot on the Independent Network list, ahead of Edelman, Serviceplan Agenturgruppe, Klick Heath, Wieden+Kennedy, Jung Von Matt, Mother, Special, Fred & Farid and And Us.
Brazil appeared again in the Palme D’or ranking, with The Youth occupying 17th place.
