According to CEO Chris Kempczinski, at the moment, there is no way to predict when the restaurant will reopen its doors in the country.
McDonald’s announced on Tuesday (8) that it will temporarily close its restaurants in Russia, after the Ukrainian War. The network has 850 units in the country.
In a message to employees, CEO Chris Kempczinski said McDonald’s will continue to assess the situation and determine whether additional measures are needed.
“Right now, it is impossible to predict when we will be able to reopen our restaurants in Russia,” said the executive.
The group will continue to remunerate its 62,000 employees in the country, the company’s director general, Chris Kempczinski, assured in a message.
