The activation was created by Meta e África, and will also give visibility to another 100 small businesses in Brazil and Mexico
Riachuelo and Instituto Riachuelo joined with Meta in an action to give visibility to small businesses led by women.
Instead of the “looks”, those who pass by the retailer’s store on Avenida Paulista will be able to meet the #CompreDelas, a movement created by Meta to support female entrepreneurship.
The activation brings, in addition to several small businesses, from accessories, puzzles, stationery, soaps and handmade backwoods embroidery, a QR Code, in which people will be able to access more than 100 entrepreneur stores listed in a guide on Instagram.
“We have a global study at Meta that shows that the impact of COVID-19 was greater for companies owned by women or people belonging to minorities. Therefore, we continue to work to encourage people to buy from small entrepreneurs”, said Débora Nitta, Director of Meta Business Marketing in Latin America.
In addition to the entrepreneurs, the action will also include the Embroiderers of Caicó, which are supported by the Riachuelo Institute and aim at the socioeconomic development of the Sertão region of Rio Grande do Norte through the generation of work and income.
“We are happy to give visibility to these small entrepreneurs to expand the reach of their businesses, and we are even happier to know that the Embroiderers of Caicó, assisted by the Riachuelo Institute, will have the opportunity to learn how to manage their stores on social networks”, commented Marcella Kanner, head of communication and brand at Riachuelo and Director of Communication at Instituto Riachuelo.
The artisans will also receive training focused on the use of digital marketing tools to promote business, provided by the Meta team in partnership with the Institute, in order to help them boost the sales of their work.
The activation, created by Meta and Agência África, will also give visibility to another 100 small businesses in Brazil and Mexico that, in common, have the vocation to positively impact the communities to which they belong through entrepreneurship.
