Brazil is in the grip of smoke from forest fires. For Goiás, tackling this problem is a challenge since, throughout the second half of the year, the state is experiencing a long period of drought with high temperatures and low humidity.
With this, Propeg is signing a campaign to raise awareness among the population about the risks of fires and which has the concept ‘forest fires destroy the cerrado and those who live in it’.
“Every year, fires bring devastating consequences to the Cerrado and its fauna. We wanted to create a campaign that not only informed, but also generated a significant emotional and visual impact. By featuring the Cerrado’s fauna as the protagonist and using resources such as the smoke effect on the panels, our goal is to make people feel the problem in a closer and more urgent way, reinforcing the importance of immediate actions to prevent fires,” said Maurício Passarinho, Creative Director at Propeg.
The campaign consists of a TV and internet film, newspaper and radio ads, and digital media. To give even more visibility to the theme, two frontlight panels were also installed on high-traffic roads in the city of Goiânia.
