The campaign includes two videos with Djonga and Duda Beat, who tell Kenya Sade about their journeys until they reached the Rock in Rio stage
Johnnie Walker launched a campaign with two videos starring Djonga and Duda Beat to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the famous “Keep Walking”. The artists told Kenya Sade about their steps and challenges leading up to performing on stage at this edition of Rock in Rio. The strategy includes promotion on social media.
Duda Beat shared the difficulties she faced as a woman and an artist, highlighting her creative boldness and the fact that she started her career later than usual.
Djonga spoke about the importance of “running together” and highlighted the unconditional support of his family and community, which were fundamental in his journey.
“Bringing the ‘Keep Walking’ campaign to the world’s biggest music and entertainment festival is a way to honor the stories of people who have broken barriers in the world of music. Just like Djonga and Duda Beat, who paved their paths with perseverance and authenticity, we believe that Rock in Rio reflects this spirit of keeping walking, even in the face of challenges,” says Andrea Rubim, head of Johnnie Walker.
