Max has unveiled its official campaign for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, which kicks off on 17 September and introduces a new, more competitive format. The Warner Bros. Discovery streaming platform will broadcast all 204 matches of the world’s biggest club competition live and at no additional cost to its subscribers.
The promotional video launches the concept ‘Much More Champions on Max’, which connects with the new competition model for the continental tournament. Starting this season, the UEFA Champions League will feature more participating teams, more matches and more classics from its initial phase. TNT Sports talents Pedro Certezas, Taynah Espinoza and Octavio Neto star in the promotional video and express the fans’ excitement about the start of the competition that brings together the main clubs and stars of European football.
“The world’s biggest club championship has changed positively, becoming bigger, more attractive and more competitive. The new season of the Champions League is full of new features and our campaign portrays exactly this enthusiasm and euphoria that we are experiencing. Fans will be able to watch all the games only here on Max, with production and execution by the renowned team of talents from TNT Sports and our well-known standard of excellence. Our mission is to bring the best possible content to guide the audience and show that these transformations make the Champions League even better”, says Clara Volpi, marketing director at Warner Bros. Discovery.
Pedro Certezas is also the protagonist of another fun action promoted by Warner Bros. Discovery brands. The comedian, commentator and presenter will act as Max’s ‘Migué Manager’ throughout the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League. In his new role, Certezas will develop and disseminate creative excuses so that fans don’t miss the championship’s big games due to their routine commitments.
“Let he who has never skipped work to watch a great Champions League game cast the first stone (not that I have ever done so!!!!). And with the new format of the competition, excuses and escapes will have to become even more creative so that fans don’t miss a single moment of the tournament on Max. That’s why it will be a huge honor to take on the role of “Skipping Manager” at Max. Together with the incredible people at TNT Sports, I will help everyone in this mission of watching Champions League matches, which will be on another level in the 2024/25 season”, says commentator Pedro Certezas.
TNT Sports will provide comprehensive coverage of the UEFA Champions League for the tenth consecutive season, once again featuring a highly specialized talent team that is identified with the competition. TNT and Space will broadcast selected matches, while Max will show all matches of the continental tournament, starting on September 17, 18 and 19. The ideal destination for football fans in Brazil, Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming platform also offers an unparalleled catalog of films, series, reality shows, documentaries and animations for all members of the family.
