Starting this Friday (20), São Paulo will host the show “Martinho, Coração de Rei – O Musical”, written and directed by Miguel Falabella. The musical, which pays homage to the singer Martinho da Vila, is sponsored by Bombril, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to supporting culture and education. The sponsorship reinforces Bombril’s connection with art as a tool for social transformation and cultural enrichment.
Marcus Fraga, Vice President of Bombril, highlighted that the company has invested in several cultural projects, including the UN Global Compact and the show “A Partilha”, also directed by Falabella. “Just like art, Bombril is always reinventing itself to meet new needs and surprise people”, stated Fraga.
In addition to “Martinho, Coração de Rei”, Bombril recently announced its sponsorship of Ilú Obá de Min, a non-profit association that promotes Afro-Brazilian cultures and the leading role of black women. These projects demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that celebrate diversity and the social impact of culture.
The musical brings to light the influence of African roots and the Folia de Reis in Martinho da Vila’s work, with dramaturgy by Helena Theodoro. In addition, the costumes, created by Cláudio Tovar and made by former inmates in partnership with the Humanitas360 Institute, reinforce the social character of the production.
Bombril, with over 76 years of history, continues to be a reference in the hygiene and cleaning market, with a diversified portfolio that is present in almost every Brazilian home.
