The company has 60 assets to display digital advertising on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, which in total impact 27 million people daily
Movie Midia has officially launched mega digital panels on the facades of buildings in Rio de Janeiro, including a curved one measuring 297 square meters.
The installation of Movie Midia’s mega panels required a lot of research and technological feasibility studies. “Our team went to China to study the best of this technology, as well as the finishing, and brought back the curved 3D digital mega panel, which is unique in Latin America,” said Rubem Furtado, CEO of the company.
The complete DOOH Movie Media Circuit includes the largest 3D digital panel in Latin America, in Barra da Tijuca, the mega gables with LED technology in Barra, Leblon and Perimetral, in addition to 56 stalls with Street Front panels spread across different regions of Rio.
“With mega panels, we provide campaigns with impactful and immersive visuals, as they capture attention and generate mass engagement. With solutions that combine creativity and cutting-edge technology, our company is at the forefront of using three-dimensional experiences in OOH, giving brands the opportunity to stand out and create lasting memories among consumers,” said Furtado.
With the four mega digital panels, in addition to the 56 Street Front panels on newsstands, Movie Midia has 60 assets for displaying digital advertising on the streets of Rio, which in total impact 27 million people daily, according to data from Datavisiooh.
Rock in Rio
On the “route” of the mega panels, which are located in the main access flows to Rock in Rio – an event that will receive an audience of around 700 thousand people over its seven days – Movie Midia’s mega panels display, during the music festival, campaigns from advertisers such as Itaú, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Tostitos, iFood and Johnnie Walker, in addition to actions from Rock in Rio itself.
Therefore, it is practically impossible for anyone heading to the festival (or returning from it) not to be impacted by Movie Midia’s assets. The largest 3D digital panel in Latin America, for example, occupies the façade of a building in Barra da Tijuca with its 297 square meters, impacting not only the Rock in Rio audience, but the entire population that leaves the Barra da Tijuca region and other neighborhoods in the West Zone towards the South Zone or the central region of Rio de Janeiro.
