The awareness campaign, created by Ampla, includes special product stickers and a web series for Instagram
Atacado Vem has launched a campaign to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the Maria da Penha Law. The awareness campaign, created by Ampla, aims to promote the continued appreciation of women’s rights and reinforce the urgent need to eradicate gender-based violence. With the motto “Maria Vem com as Outras: together we guarantee more dignity and respect for all women”, the initiative includes stickers on Atacado Vem’s own brand products. The stickers, which simulate a nutritional table, contain a list of agencies and institutions that help women victims of violence in Espírito Santo.
In addition, the strategy includes a web series for Instagram. The first episode, in honor of the 18th anniversary of the Maria da Penha Law, featured the participation of lawyer Bárbara Néspoli, a specialist in Family and Succession Law.
In the second episode, about female entrepreneurship, confectioner Lilian Gomes spoke about her experience.
In the third, psychologist Camilla Medalane discussed how psychological assistance is an essential tool in combating violence against women.
Finally, the fourth episode of the series brought volunteers Camila Lopes and Norma das Graças, from the NGO Mulheres Guerreiras, to talk about the importance of shelters for victims of domestic violence and how a powerful community can transform the reality of thousands of women. The video is the beginning of the partnership between the Espírito Santo wholesale chain and the NGO, including the donation of basic food baskets and the creation, by Ampla, of a new identity and visual communication.
“More than just developing a campaign, Ampla is partnering with Atacado Vem in a crucial awareness-raising campaign for our society. Through an educational and awareness-raising approach, we seek to inform about the rights guaranteed by law and also encourage reporting and support for victims of domestic violence,” says Marla Oliveira, Business Director at Ampla.
