Lawyers for the social network will send documents indicating that decisions imposed by Alexandre de Moraes were complied with
OX, formerly Twitter, must formalize a request to the Supreme Federal Court (STF) for the block to be lifted and the platform to return to operating normally in the country this week.
According to information gathered by Caio Junqueira, from CNN Brasil, the social network’s lawyers are preparing official documents to present to Alexandre de Moraes, minister of the STF, informing that the decisions imposed by the magistrate were complied with, such as the indication of a legal representative, the blocking of some profiles and the payment of fines.
Last Friday (20), X appointed Rachel de Oliveira Villa Nova, who already held the position before the company closed its office in the country, as its representative in the country, but Moraes’ decision on a possible return of X can only be made on Saturday (28), as the minister requested new information from Elon Musk’s company, in addition to data that proves the regularity of the platform.
The social network has been offline in Brazil since August 30, when the STF ordered the suspension of activities after Elon Musk’s company failed to respond to the minister’s summons to appoint a representative in the country within 24 hours.
